New papers es un magazine que surge en el 2008 como una nueva forma de entender la publicación impresa. Con un planteamiento puramente visual se define más como una exposición, que como un periódico, aunque su formato sea el de este último. El punto de partida es muy sencillo: Un tema, 11 artistas, 11 carteles. Una publicación trimestral, cuyo contenido es la propuesta de 11 artistas de diferentes disciplinas (diseño, fotografía, ilustración...) donde puedan reflexionar libremente y plantear sus ideas entorno a un tema concreto, en formato cartel.

New paper is a magazine created in 2008. It is a new way of understand newspaper traditional. One theme, 11 artists, 11 posters. A free three-monthly publication whom unique content is the proposal of 11 international artists from different disciplines (design, photography, illustration...) where they can reflect on a specific theme and express freely.

Alejandro Paul

Alejandro is passionate about typography. While technically masterful, he focuses on the art behind the form – on capturing the essence of an era or style. He’s won several awards for his designs and is co-founder of the Sudtipos project, the first Argentinean type foundry collective. Alejandro teaches graphic design and typography at the Universidad de Buenos Aires.
